Airline Highway Park Ball Field 3 is located off Airline Highway to the North of the park property. This 225-350ft baseball/softball field is available for practices, games, and organized recreational activities. The field is equipped with lights for evening use and does have outdoor restroom facilities located nearby. A reservation is recommended to guarantee field availability during your desired date and time. Please contact the Highland Road Community Park facility to reserve. 225-767-4003

Ball Field Rental Information

BREC athletic fields are available on a first come, first served basis when not reserved. To guarantee access to a field for a specific date and time, a reservation must be secured through BREC. Fields reserved through the rental process receive priority use during the approved reservation period.
Rental fees may vary based on field type, duration of use, and whether field lights are requested.
All applicants requesting a ball field rental must be at least 21 years of age and are responsible for the conduct of all participants and spectators associated with the reservation.

Field Use Guidelines

Athletic fields are open to the public on a first come, first served basis unless reserved through BREC. A confirmed reservation guarantees use of the field during the approved rental period. Rental fees provide exclusive use of the designated field only during the reservation time. Reservations do not provide exclusive use of surrounding park amenities, playgrounds, parking lots, restrooms, trails, concession areas, or other common park spaces. Field rentals do not include field preparation, dragging, chalking, lining, mowing, watering, or maintenance services unless specifically approved by BREC. The renter is responsible for supervising participants and spectators and ensuring compliance with all BREC rules and park regulations. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on BREC property unless otherwise permitted by BREC policy. Unauthorized concession sales, fundraising activities, or commercial operations are prohibited without prior approval. All trash and personal property must be removed following the reservation.

Field Lights

Fields equipped with lights may be rented for evening use. Light rental fees are separate from field rental fees. Field lights may only be used during approved reservation hours. Unauthorized use of field lighting may result in additional fees and suspension of future rental privileges.

Weather & Field Conditions

BREC reserves the right to close athletic fields due to weather, unsafe playing conditions, maintenance requirements, or operational needs.
Field closures may occur with little notice in order to protect player safety and preserve field conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least seven (7) days prior to the reservation date are eligible for a refund, less applicable administrative fees. Reservations canceled within seven (7) days of the rental date may be eligible for rescheduling based on field availability. Weather-related closures initiated by BREC may qualify for rescheduling or refund in accordance with BREC policies.
