Ready to tame mountains with your bike? Join us for an exciting intro into the world of Mountain Biking! We'll help you learn the basic parts of a bike, and how to properly shift, brake, and control the bike. Then we will put it all together for an enjoyable and thrilling ride down our trails!

Do you want to learn new skateboard tricks? Then join us for our Advanced Skateboarding clinic! Our staff will teach the fundamentals of skateboarding tricks, transition riding, ollies and more. This class meets consecutively over a four-week period, so you have time each week to practice the lessons from each class and grow your skills. This class is open to skaters who already have the ability to ride their boards but want to take their skating to the next level. If you'd like a clinic catered more towards learning how to ride a skateboard at the very beginner level, please see our "Intro To Skateboarding" class. Our instructors meet the skaters where they're at and will be there to guide riders with both general coaching to meet them based on their personal abilities. BREC will provide all the necessary equipment.

BREC's Farr Park Equestrian center is proud to offer guided trail rides on select Saturdays and Sundays. Enjoy a one-hour gentle ride through the park or in the indoor arena on one of the BREC horses. This activity is perfect for families, groups and friends. Trail rides are by appointment only, and all riders must be at least 12 years old. All ability levels welcome to join!

The Hearts and Hooves Therapeutic Riding Program provides equine-oriented activities for the purpose of contributing to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of people with disabilities. The center welcomes adults and children, ages six and older, to participate in sessions throughout the school year. People of all ages with a variety of disabilities discover new worlds through equine-assisted activities. Because horseback riding gently and rhythmically moves riders' bodies in a manner similar to the human step, individuals with physical disabilities often show improvement in flexibility, balance and muscle strength. Moreover, for people with mental or emotional disabilities, the unique relationship they form with the horse can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem.
